captainLink rehearses any passage before you sail it for real — eleven simulation voyages from a coastal hop to a full ocean crossing, each debriefing like the real thing: distance, duration, average speed, an AI-written narrative. It ships with one built specifically for this coastline — Barcelona (Port Vell) to Sitges, out past Montjuïc and down the Costa Garraf. Launch it from the Academy on the unit in front of you.

Charts & maps

Charts that don't need a signal to load.

The Chart page layers a real nautical chart — sector lights, buoys, traffic — over your live position and course, not a road map with a boat icon on it. Every harbour comes with cached satellite imagery, so the picture is already on board before you leave the marina.

• Built on real nautical data — the OpenSeaMap overlay carries sector lights, buoys and marine features most map apps don't, layered live with your position, course and nearby traffic.
• Cached before you need it — every harbour's satellite imagery downloads and caches on-device. The sidebar always shows exactly how much is cached, so nothing's missing once you lose signal.
• Portugal and Spain today, the world next — the harbour picker covers Iberian waters now. More regions are on the roadmap as captainLink expands into new markets.

Crew

Every sailor aboard, their own account.

One box, one family, several captains. Add a sailor and give them a password — they pick themselves from the switcher, and everything from their rank to their AI's voice belongs to them alone.

• A password for every sailor — add a crew member with a password, and switching into their profile asks for it, so nobody lands in someone else's account by accident.

• Hear it before you commit — a Preview Voice button plays a sample line in the chosen voice, before anything is saved.

Every part of captainLink doubles as a lesson. Rehearse a passage in simulation before you sail it for real, ask the AI first mate anything when you're nowhere near the water, and get a written debrief — narrative, key learnings, your own rating — after every trip, simulated or real. Progress is tracked like a career, not a checklist: ranks, XP and daily missions that build the habit one short session at a time.
