The box

Built around an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin.

Wire it once behind the console. The orange case slides out of the finned aluminium body; the blue button is the whole interface.

The Helm

Every instrument, on the iPad already aboard.

The box serves the Helm dashboard over the boat's Wi-Fi. It opens in Safari on an iPad or iPhone, with nothing to install from an app store.

Knowledge

Your manuals, one question away.

Every fact CaptainLink knows lives in a cartridge you can open: seamanship, regional maritime law, even packs for one boat model. Bring the boat's documents aboard and ask by voice.

Knowledge search, captured from the running app.
Provenance
Each fact is tagged regulatory, best practice or heuristic, and the tag comes with the answer.
Your boat
Dedicated packs for the Beneteau Oceanis and Jeanneau Sun Odyssey ranges.
Your waters
Switch packs on or off. Core safety knowledge always stays on.
Integrity
Each cartridge is checked with SHA-256 before it loads.

Safety protocol engine

For the moment everything changes.

Man overboard
Bearing and range to the position, with an audio broadcast.
Anchor watch
Set a radius. If the anchor drags, the alarm sounds.
AIS threat board
Safe, warning, critical. Alarm when a vessel will pass closer than 0.5 nm within 15 minutes.
MAYDAY
Builds a VHF DSC-format call from the nature of distress and souls on board.

Camera lookoutOn board

The camera spots boats, people and marine life and tells you where, relative to the bow. The box has 8 camera inputs.

Safety, captured from the running app.

The black box principle

The record survives, even when the boat doesn't.

Flight recorders are built so the record outlives the aircraft. CaptainLink applies the same idea: a hardened shell around the box, and one tap to send the whole record somewhere you control.

Black Box, captured from the running app before an endpoint is set.
Shell
3D-printed, impact- and heat-resistant, designed to protect the record through fire or submersion. A damaged shell reprints in hours. Certification in progress.
Sync Now
Safety events, logbook, voyages and compliance documents leave the boat encrypted, over SFTP.
Destination
A NAS at home, your own server or a private cloud instance. Never a vendor cloud.
Control
Nothing streams automatically. You decide when.

Maritime Academy

The sea, learnt on board.

Rehearse a passage before you leave the dock, ask your AI first mate anything from home, and read an AI-written debrief after every voyage.
